Keeping the Dream Alive
Monday, January 16, 2006, 07:55 PM - Misc
Today is more than just a day off but a chance to look back at the injustices faced by African-Americans and how he moved a nation towards progression 43 years ago.

The issue of social equality is not recognized by all, only by remembering and practicing the ideals of these civil rights leaders like MLK can we move on to make the dream a reality.

The more things change, the more they stay the same and here at DMUG we work for constant improvement and providing a quality community for Mac Users of the Valley.

The first item on the agenda is meeting times, yes I have had problems scheduling meeting recently so I decided to hand the issue over to the community. What are you preferences on meeting times? Don't worry if you can't come up with actual times, here are some "suggested times" to get those brain-cells working and feel free to "Think different".

*Wednesday's Bi-Weekly at 12 Noon

*Thursday's B-Weekly at 12 Noon

*Wednesday's Bi-Weekly at 5PM

*Monday Bi-Weekly at 5PM

Another change is meeting topics, or lack of :-( meeting topics. Some ideas I am throwing around include:

*Mac Truth or Fiction Session

*Mac vs. PC debate

*Xgrid

*OS X 86 with live demonstration

Use the comments wisely, I welcome all feedback, especially different feedback.
